On a hot and humid day the best way to celebrate a great Little League season is with ice cream! No matter the reason for rejoicing, an ice cream bar is a perfect way to ring in summer celebrations! So easy to do, we hope you get some inspiration from this baseball celebration…that started with good old ice cream!
an ice cream bar…
simple supplies to start…
this small wood crate holds the bowls…
a cupcake stand for the cones, a popular message, and a tin for the main event!
now for some goodies!
some sugary toppings in baseball containers…
an easy DIY project…
i found the old trophies at a thrift store, simply unscrewed them from the base and attached them in place of the knob on the candy dish!
a fun way to add a baseball theme to the party!
what goes best with a little ice cream?
cake!
a simple square cake became an edible ball field…just right for the occasion!
a little crushed graham cracker for the clay and fondant for the bases!
a perfect baker i am not…but it sure is fun getting creative and believe me–no one else will notice the imperfections!
easy paper products in team colors…
what better weight for the napkins than a baseball?
something refreshing to wash it all down…a team inspired watering hole!
a tribute to all the players…
a super easy banner with common supplies…
twine, paper, baseball stickers and pennants left over from the cupcake picks from earlier this week!
simple & so festive!
more easy detais…a small blue ribbon on a lantern, a baseball glove centerpiece…
and of course–gumballs!
remember when you’re creating a sport or activity theme use all the equipment you have around the house…whether baseball bats or tutus…they make great props at no expense!
so what did this all add up to?
some refreshing, ooey, gooey, sugary fun!
