creepy crawlers might not make you cringe if they’re on a happy Halloween cart like this one…
ceramic craft pumpkins are swarming with colorful creepers…which are just plastic bugs & spider rings from the craft store!
varying shades of green spray paint transform the little guys into something that’s not quite so creepy! hot glue holds them on…but later i can pop them off and paint the pumpkins for my Thanksgiving table!
a little food color transforms any icing to match a theme. and can you call a spider darling? you can if it’s a paper honeycomb!
you can easily hang decorations on the wall with a bit of painters tape. this way these spiders won’t actually be sinister by ripping the paint off the walls!
have fun and startle your guests with a little gross-factor…”bug barf” (aka soda) is served on a pedestal…
such a hilarious sip for this bug-inspired cart!
everyone loves something silly…kiddos, teens and even adults!
for a fun detail…i tied a paper straw threaded with a spider ring to the neck of the bottle!
rather than buying a garland, i decorated the front of the cart with a DIY banner made from strips of fabric simply tied to twine.
i used the leftover fabric on the bottles AND the cake stand! REALLY economical and it made this little cart look custom!
so simple, so silly, so yummy & fun!
serve up something creepy crawly this season!
pin for later~
