It’s wedding season…and a popcorn bar is the perfect way to celebrate by serving up some salty and sweet treats for guests! Popcorn bars are such a fun and delicious trend that I think will be sticking around for a long time! I mean, who doesn’t love popcorn…and with so many fun flavors to choose from you can find something for everyone to enjoy! I’m so excited to partner with Grand Rapids Popcorn to bring you some festive inspiration for setting up a dessert station that will make love even sweeter! Try one for a wedding, a bridal shower…or ANY celebration! (Graduations are right around the corner too!) But today let’s fall in love with a…
wedding popcorn bar!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
setting up a popcorn bar doesn’t need to be difficult…a table topped with bins or baskets is all you need to get started!
get a similar rustic look by stacking a bench on a table or hutch and use small bushel baskets for the corn and candies…
a serve-yourself bar needs treat bags or boxes…
tucked right into the drawer of the hutch, these darling bags are at easy reach to fill with a custom mix of corn and candy!
let’s start with the corn…
if you’re serving a popcorn bar, display a selection of flavors. i served something classic…
and a bright color and unexpected flavor…watermelon is so fun for the season!
you could add other goodies to the bar too like nuts & candies…
i’m obsessed with the new rice krispie poppers and they’re a delicious accompaniment to the popcorn!
make sure to label all the treats so guests know what they’re getting!
a custom bag of deliciousness!
just because you’re serving up a popcorn bar…doesn’t mean you can’t still have CAKE!
what a wonderful way to tie in the popcorn by topping the wedding cake too!
this beautiful cake by Village Patisserie is just perfect for this rustic setting…
paper doilies strung into a garland and paper globes are simple & pretty decorations…
some rustic tins of posies…
and wood letters spelling “cake” and “corn” complete the decor!
you don’t need lot’s of frill to serve up a delicious thrill!
whether you’re celebrating love, or just love to celebrate…
try a popcorn bar at your next event!

Thanks so much!! The hutch is actually a shelving unit that fit perfectly! A great reminder to “shop” the house first right? 🙂 My friend who makes the bags is so talented, i was thrilled to be able to incorporate them!!

Thanks Holly! It’s actually a shelving bin that used to be in my son’s room when he was little! I have two and it just happened to fit perfectly on that table! But I’ll be using the combo again for sure!!
