A spring flower-cuterie board might have you scratching your head. But the trendy, traditional charcuterie has morphed into so many creative versions I thought trying it in a decorative way would be fun! Instead of food why not cluster pretty little bouquets on a board to create a seasonal centerpiece? It doesn’t have to be elaborate and you don’t need to have floral arranging skills to make one either! The season offers up all kinds of beautiful options that you can often find right outside your door! Let me share how simple it can be to bring snippets of springtime to your table or any celebration you might be planning…
charcuterie to flower-cuterie!
the fun of a charcuterie is all the goodies piled on it. in this case it’s bottles & vases…
now all you need are blooms! step outside and see what your yard might have to offer…
decor tip:
it really won’t take much to create each little bouquet. try sticking with one variety per container and just one or two stems can be enough to create a pretty display!
this bottle is filled with periwinkle which is actually a groundcover…
other options could be small branches from flowering trees…
a single daffodil…
some forget-me-nots mixed with herbs (from my windowsill!)
truthfully not many stems altogether…but clustered all together they look so grand!
a spring flower-cuterie board might be my new favorite!
cheers to the charcuterie…
floral style!
