Cereal rainbow…that’s something that you might not hear everyday!  But creating this fun rainbow topper is not only easy but perfect for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration!  Since my boys have been little, I’ve always served up a St. Paddy’s Day breakfast.  Nothing crazy, just little holiday touches that make it feel special.  Now that they’re grown, and almost grown…I still do it.  I can’t help myself.  But it is a fun treat for anyone at any age!  So today, I’m sharing how to create delicious rainbow toppers that can top any sweet treat!  I served them on mini cinnamon buns but cupcakes or muffins will work and won’t disappoint any Leprechaun that comes calling. Super Bowl Sunday is less than two weeks away…so it’s not too early to begin thinking about your menu!  We have a family tradition of making a huge tray of wings for game night munching.  And while wings are delicious, they’ve never been my absolute favorite food, amplified by the fact that they’re inevitably messy!  So along side the wings…I always create a secondary snack that’s easy, filling and delicious too! This year I’m going to serve up some simple sandwiches but with a super spicy twist!  Sriracha slaw piled high on a ham & cheese stuffed baguette is not only the easiest thing to make…but it gives that simple sandwich a feisty bite!  Let’s root for our favorite team…and nibble the night away!

A soup supper is something my family enjoys often during the winter months! Soup is warm & toasty, it’s healthy, and can be served alone as a one-pot meal! And now that the holidays are over, I’m definitely serving much more simple dishes to counteract all the indulging we’ve done! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite chili recipes which is perfect for a winter-white dinner party or just an everyday meal.  AND you can check out the simple way I repurposed some of my Christmas decor to create easy, seasonal decorations too!  So snuggle up and serve a satisfying soup supper on a chilly winter eve…

New Year’s Eve Celebrations…Charcuterie Style!

New Year’s Eve celebrations are just days away…but you can still party in grand style with an easy charcuterie that will be certain to impress!  Charcuterie boards are one of my favorite appetizers because they’re super simple to put together even for a last-minute party!  While a “true” charcuterie would mean a platter full of meats…the definition to many has gradually changed to a “grazing board”.  This means you can now add just about ANYTHING you want to your edible display!  New Year’s Eve is a perfect opportunity to create this beautiful array of goodies to serve to friends and family.  Pull together all the leftover treats from Christmas and serve them right on the tabletop…no special trays or platters needed!  I’m really excited to partner with Fun to Eat Fruit to bring you some inspiration for sipping and nibbling the night away!  I promise it’s easy and simple but will look every bit as festive as the holiday itself!  The year is coming to an end and I’ll wrap it up with my favorite phrase…celebrate simple and celebrate often!
