Since the big turkey day is only a couple weeks away, I’m excited to share some really simple and creative ideas to set a rustic Thanksgiving table!  Everyone seems to get a tad stressed when it comes to these celebratory, holiday meals…and unfortunately I can’t offer much professional advice concerning the overall meal prep as I’m not so great at it myself!  (my husband & mother get to take most of that credit!) Halloween festivities have come to an end but autumn still has more to offer!  How about treating your family and friends to a fall s’mores bar by the fire?  S’mores seem to be everyone’s favorite, fall snack and I can see why!  It’s such a seasonal delight to be fireside on a cool, crisp evening with a roasting stick in hand!  And once that mallow is toasted to your heart’s desire and sandwiched between chocolate & crunchy graham crackers…it’s hard not to have your mouth water with anticipation of that first gooey bite!  So I think it’s fair to say that a s’more will NEVER disappoint!  I’m sure you’ve probably seen some of the different ways this treat is now served up with a twist…you can let your creativity and your taste buds go wild!  The traditional s’more is always a hit but why not try some fun combinations for an extra special treat!  Get ready to savor the season…

We’re in the midst of football season and I think it’s fair to say most of us put out some game day snacks whether we’re diehard fans or just casual watchers!  You can love football or even hate it…but there’s lots of fun associated with the game no matter how you slice it or dice it…meaning, a tailgate celebration or yummy themed snacks can delight even the non-sport enthusiast!  I say all the time how much I adore easy snack ideas…it’s my belief that if you keep it simple, you’ll be more likely to actually serve up a special treat!  So today, in partnership with Grand Rapids Popcorn, I’d like to share a SUPER easy treat table for a football afternoon…whether you have 3 or 33 guests, these snacks are so easy you could effortlessly delight a crowd! DIY decorations are so much fun to create at any time of the year…but there’s something about Halloween that makes them extra fun!  I think that this holiday is so whimsical and lighthearted that even a novice DIY-er (like myself) can let their creativity shine with easy projects that have plenty of wiggle-room where perfection is concerned!  Recently my husband and I joined a supper club and I’m dying to host a small soiree this month…so holiday touches will be mandatory for my table!  Let me share some of the decorations I’ll be using…and I’ll show you how to make them too!

Bright and Colorful Fall Table!

If you’re like me, you may be torn between the seasons…but you can have some fun combining them both with a colorful fall table!  The first signs of autumn are exciting and yet I’m not quite ready to completely let summer go…so I decided to mix it up and add bits of both seasons  to a late-summer early-fall celebration!  Bright florals, lots of pretty patterns, tiny pumpkins, and a touch of glam were the elements used to set an eclectic table to serve up tiny tea cakes to my friends.  I hope you enjoy these simple ideas for a cheerful welcome to the new season!
