Baseball season seems like it rarely ends around our house! Both boys played ball in school and my youngest is still in the midst of the summer season and often plays much of the year ’round in some form. AND in our neck of the woods we have our very own hometown team the Toledo Mud Hens to cheer on! So needles to say, baseball has been welcome in our home for years! One of the great things about baseball (or sports in general) is that you never outgrow the fun! Everyone from players to fans can get in on the excitement and can enjoy a good baseball-themed snack or two! Today I want to share a super easy snack table that would be perfect for pre-game fun, a birthday party, or just a TV game night with friends. And if you have a player in your family or know one nearby, you’ll already have all the decorations you need! Let’s get ready to munch, crunch and cheer our favorite team on to the win! I promise this easy snack table won’t strike out!
root, root, root for the home team…
and baseball snacks!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
shop-the-home decor!
this simple table is filled with fun…and all of the decorations came from around my house! i don’t even mind the pine tar on the practice bats which make an easy, rustic back drop!
and the mitt holding our new favorite candy confection used to be mine when i was a kid!
if you look closely, you can see my name written in my mom’s handwriting…
and if you have some baseballs laying around, you can use one for a perfect napkin weight!
let’s talk munchies!
we LOVE this Softer Than Brittle nut confection! it’s flaky, nutty and it tastes like baseball season to me!
popcorn is another favorite and a ballpark staple…
this DIY container is the perfect way to serve it up too! i made these for my son years ago to hold party snacks and later, his baseball cards. i just un-screwed the top of a garage sale trophy…
and added it to my jar! just look for a container with a lid that has a screw-off handle, then there’s no drilling required!
you can make a container that fits your theme perfectly!
the other jar holds peanuts in the shell…
a messy but super fun snack that’s hard to resist!
a stack of plastic cups make great grab-and-go “bowls” to hold the munchies!
and to wash it all down…root beer in classic bottles!
i love how the entire table has a vintage baseball theme…just by lucky chance! no matter your theme, shop the house first!
so if you’re ready for some ballpark fun right in your own backyard…
serve your sluggers some easy and delicious snacks!
play ball!
pin for later~

This party buffet is a home run, Lori! The Mud Hens are a farm team for which baseball team? I grew up watching the Pawtucket Red Sox!

Thank you so much!! The Mud Hens feed to the Tigers! We’re close enough to see a few of those games from time to time too!

We haven’t started into sports yet but this looks like such a great easy way to cheer my kiddos on. Im super excited to try the softer than brittle – know if they stock it on the West side of the Rockies?

Well, when they get into the activities they love, I’m sure you’ll totally decorate with all the goodies! You have such an eye! Not sure about the Brittle but it’s worth looking into! We love it!
