Since the big turkey day is only a couple weeks away, I’m excited to share some really simple and creative ideas to set a rustic Thanksgiving table!  Everyone seems to get a tad stressed when it comes to these celebratory, holiday meals…and unfortunately I can’t offer much professional advice concerning the overall meal prep as I’m not so great at it myself!  (my husband & mother get to take most of that credit!) Festive Fourth of July Fun!

The Fourth of July is right around the corner…can you believe it?  If your summer is anything like mine has been so far, it seems like I’m actually busier than when school was in session!  Fortunately, I’m slowly but surely getting into a new routine but I’m definitely missing the lazy days of summer like the ones in my childhood memories or when my boys were little!  It just seems that life was a tad slower than it is now. Cinco De Mayo Holiday Table

The Cinco De Mayo holiday is coming up soon!  I happen to love this festive day, and while I’ve yet to host a huge fiesta, I still enjoy creating something colorful and fun for my family!  One of the many wonderful things about this holiday is the food…wouldn’t you agree?  Mexican favorites are so delicious and are usually very easy to prepare!  We happen to love tacos…so that’s the meal of choice for our simple Cinco De Mayo celebration!  Not only are tacos yummy and fun to make but you don’t need any utensils to eat them…which makes setting a table even easier!  With that in mind, I was playing around with some tabletop ideas for our upcoming family celebration…so when May 5th rolls around, I’ll be ready to set the table in fiesta style!  I’d love to share with you a preview of what our table will be like this year, including some DIY inspiration to get you thinking about Cinco De Mayo fun…big or small!

Cinco De Mayo is just around the corner and that always give us a great excuse to celebrate!  I don’t know about the weather where you are, but even though the calendar says we’re approaching May…it still feels a bit like February in my neck of the woods!  But that’s all the more reason to have a festive treat to beat the winter-like blues!  So today I’m sharing some really simple ways to dress up your goodies for a Cinco De Mayo snack table!  I love to share good DIY decorations that anyone can create…and when they’re inexpensive as well, everyone wins!  I set up this tiny table using paper products in pretty pastels which was a fun way to put a new spin on a traditional party idea!  No time to siesta…get ready for some sweet family fun!

Llama Theme Mother’s Day Luncheon

Llama theme parties are really a trend!  And what’s not to love?  Those adorable, fuzzy creatures are just so cute and hard to resist!  Even though they’re a popular theme for little girls…there’s no rule that says you can’t have a little llama fun with the adult ladies too!  Since springtime is finally here and Mother’s Day will soon be on the horizon, I’m sharing some llama theme fun with a Llamas & Mamas Mother’s Day Luncheon!  I was so excited to create this party for the spring edition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Party Magazine…one of my favorite publications for all sorts of party inspiration!  This intimate soiree for two moms and their mamas was showcased in the magazine as a whimsical way to celebrate the holiday!  And today I’m sharing even more from that sweet party to celebrate moms of all ages!  Whether you’re a brand new mom, have held the position for a while, have grand babies or participate in a child’s life…motherhood is such a reason for celebration!  Let’s gather and have some fun…with llamas AND mamas!
