Coffee and doughnuts are a yummy treat on any morning…but it’s super easy to dress them up for Halloween! And I don’t know about you, but I often crave a cup of coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up! And now that it’s getting cooler, a warm toasty drink never sounded better! So no matter what time of day you’d like a warm sip…invite your “ghoul-friends” over for a festive “coffin” break! I’m sharing some fun paper goodies for just such an occasion. Just grab some simple treats from the bakery, get the coffee percolating and enjoy some holiday fun on the patio!
it’s time for a coffin break!
gather your ghouls and savor a warm, holiday sip outside!
these adorable cups were what inspired the simple theme!
fill ’em up with whatever you love. coffee, tea, cider…anything goes!
i just adore the witty wrap…perfect for any hot drink!
i used an old tarnished tray to pile on the goods! some extra cookies can be scattered about for extra dunking!
and bakery doughnuts are always a hit! i piled them in this lidded container that slightly reminded me of a coffin! of course, any bowl will do! but always look around your house to see what might serve as a unique vessel!
decorative details
cute cupcake picks look sweet inserted into the pastries…such an easy detail!
and more of the 3-D bats from the DIY post last week give a tiny touch of spooky…
how fun is this cardboard chandelier? such a festive detail to a super simple setup!
i love the way he danced in the breeze! whimsical and ever-so-slightly spooky!
and you can’t serve up snacks without napkins…i thought these were a hoot!
and a simple, urn centerpiece…made simply by setting a gourd on top of faux & dried blooms. just tuck them around to create a pretty arrangement for any holiday table!
