DIY Galentine gifts are a special way to tell your gal pals how much they mean to you! AND it doesn’t have to be difficult to handcraft a sweet, little treat to surprise your peeps on Valentine’s Day! If you celebrate “Galentine’s Day” with your friends, I’m so excited to share this DIY idea with you! Not only is it simple to craft but it’s useful, pretty and you can customize it to fit each recipient if you wish! Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it…so let’s get crafting!
DIY galentine gifts to make hearts flutter!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
i love finding simple & sweet ways to treat my friends now and again. so when i see little containers that will make great gifts, i pick them up!
i love these little glass containers as they are, but thought i could add some festive, feminine touches to make them perfect for the holiday!
you can’t really tell from the photo but the top edge of the lid has a rubber ring to make them airtight. so wonderful for all sorts of uses!
these little DIY galentine gifts will be lovely and purposeful…my favorite! let’s get started…
what you’ll need:
containers with a lid (these glass cuties from my favorite dollar spot!)
assorted silk flowers and/or greens-small & medium sizes
glue gun
if you don’t have flowers in your craft inventory, you can pick up inexpensive stems at dollar and craft stores. you don’t even need wire snips…you can pop the blooms right off the stems.
pick 3-4 little blooms to make a colorful cluster. secure the lid to have a sturdy surface to glue to…
begin with the largest bloom first and attach it to the lid with a generous dollop of hot glue.
then keep adding blooms and leaves, using the largest ones first…
saving all the littlest ones to fill in the remaining gaps.
remember, there’s no right or wrong here! make them all the same, or mix them up…
i loved the bright mix of posies for these jars…but you could use any blooms or even succulents!
then fill them with something fun! i chose holiday candies for a sweet treat!
a fun “giving” vignette!
you can deliver the gifts…OR invite your pals over for Galentine fun! if you choose the latter, here’s a fun way to display them…
stack them up on a stand with some extra goodies to munch on! i added the apples for a darling & healthy addition!
displaying the gifts & fruit makes such a fun centerpiece for a holiday gathering of friends! …and sprinkling the extra candy is a festive AND delicious detail!
so i hope you got some inspirations for creating and displaying DIY galentine gifts for your special people!
happy crafting…happy giving!
stay tuned next week for a Valentine spread using the rest of the beautiful apples…you won’t want to miss it!
