Easter details don’t have to be difficult. Even the simplest additions to a holiday table can make it extra special for your family or guests! Easter will be here before we know it, and being prepared with your ideas can make your celebrations more fun! Today I’d like to share some of the little details I’ll be using on my table this year. From easy centerpiece ideas to effortless food styling, I hope you’ll find some springtime inspiration that will work for you! I’ll be excited to share my completed table, but in the meantime, take a peek at what I’ve been working on…
it’s all in the (easy) details!
i think the idea of party details stresses people out. but seriously, it often only means taking an ordinary item, and tweaking it. a piece of candy can be transformed into a holiday centerpiece!
this chocolate figurine will make a wonderful decoration! a container filled with wood shavings makes a perfect “nest”…
these eggs in shades of yellow and neutrals are the color inspiration for my table this year.
tucking them under the chocolate chick makes it appear she’s actually sitting on her soon-to-be flock…
a few edible eggs look deliciously good too! on Easter Sunday, i might tuck in a few fresh blooms, but until then, she makes a pretty cute decoration!
champagne saucer salads
if you own champagne saucers or footed dessert bowls, have you considered using them in a new way?
how about for a salad? a perfect size for brunch or just a fresh bite before the main dish is served!
baby greens work well for dainty containers. i only added fresh fruit, feta and nuts. serve your favorite dressing on the side to keep the presentation pretty.
and another “hoppy” detail…
pie crust parmesan crackers are so easy to make and look darling too!
what you need:
1 box purchased pie crust rolls
grated parmesan
any preferred seasonings (i used thyme and a garlic seasoning blend)
cookie cutters
unroll one sheet of the dough. top with parmesan and seasonings. place other roll on top and press together well with a rolling pin. cut shapes with your cutters and bake in a 425 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy. cool completely before serving.
how adorable are they to add a little extra crunch to this tiny salad!
no to salad? try a treat!
if salad isn’t your thing, try this sweet treat using the same containers…
cotton candy “nests” are so fun for kiddos or anyone with a sweet tooth!
tuck the cotton candy into the bowl and press gently in the middle to make the shape. fill with your favorite egg candies!
take a seat!
one last detail that is always lovely to include on a holiday table is a place card…
craft eggs and a marker are all you need! pop them into a tiny basket, nest or just place on a napkin to let your guests know which seat is theirs!
you’ll have to wait a bit to see my finished table…but until then, i hope you found some inspiration you might use on yours!
cheers to simple Easter details!
