You can tuck it in an Easter basket or just deliver it to a friend…either way it will be a yummy surprise! Let’s get in the kitchen for a little springtime fun!
holiday hot cocoa…Easter bunny approved!
you only need simple goodies from the grocer to whip up a batch…
what you’ll need:
strawberry Nesquick
white chocolate chips (ground in food processor)
white chocolate pudding mix
dry milk
mini & holiday mallows (optional)
mason jars & lids
treat bags & embellishments (optional)
printable recipe at the end of the post!
mix all the ingredients in small to medium bowl…
gently stir until it’s blended to a soft pink color.
recipe tip:
if you freeze the white chocolate chips it will make the blending process easier. they don’t have to be super fine, just smaller so that they melt quickly in the cocoa
add the cocoa powder to your containers. mason jars work really well and are cute too!
if you’d like, leave room to add mini marshmallows to the top!
not a necessary topping…but i think Easter hot cocoa needs some! (try using pastel mallows for more springtime color)
i found these darling, marshmallow bunnies and thought they’d be fun to add. (Peeps mallows would work too!)
too big to fit in the jar…but they’d make a fun packaging embellishment!
small treat bags, a little craft paper, and pom fringe dress up the bunnies & keep them fresh! staple the paper to the top of the bag & glue on the fringe!
a few more simple supplies will help complete the gifts!
tie the bunnies & instructions to the top of the jar…and you’re ready for gifting!
Easter hot cocoa…share the deliciousness!
