Easy Easter Table Ideas!

The Easter table is often filled with beautiful springtime flowers, pretty china, linens and maybe even some silver…it’s often one of a handful of times we go all out to set a lovely table!  But let’s face it, sometimes life gets in the way…and even though this holiday gives us reason for celebration, there’s no rule that says we have to be over-the-top!  When it comes right down to it, holidays and special occasions go beyond the decorations.  They give us opportunity to be with those we love most and create special moments that will become cherished memories!  Even though i LOVE decorating for parties…or any reason really, I also love to share easier ways to make our celebrations memorable without killing ourselves doing it!  Simple and inexpensive–two words that make festivities even better in my book!  So today I’d love to share with you an easy Easter table that I set to serve an early holiday breakfast.  I’m even sharing some of my family’s favorite recipes to add to your tabletop!  Take a peek at a simple setup that’s still filled with Easter fun!

take a seat at the Easter table!

even a simple celebration is always a welcomed surprise to family and  friends…so i served up some breakfast along with the easiest goodies & decorations to create a cheerful spread!

Easter table ideas

cupcakes and candy are welcome at ANY holiday meal…in my opinion!  containers of jelly beans and a tiny stand filled with cupcakes make easy decorations that you can eat too!

Easter table ideas

but if you can’t eat cake for breakfast, you could always use mini cinnamon rolls or even tiny quiches as a substitute!  but i’m not sure who could pass up these sweet bunnies!

Easter table ideas

i LOVE using candy containers as decorations…just fill them with your favorites and put them in place!  they can also be a great way to color-coordinate a table with candies to match the decor!

Easter table ideas

simple centerpiece!

you can make a centerpiece with decorations you’re not using.  i topped a cake stand with a small wreath to create a “nest” for a handful of eggs!

Easter table centerpiece

a bit of left-over Easter grass in the center makes a colorful bed for the speckled beauties!  and if you don’t have a wreath, a pile of the colorful grass would make a perfect nest all on its own!

Easter table ideas

in addition to the “nest”, i filled a vintage garden tray with a collection of eggs and placed it at the end of the table…who says a centerpiece has to be in the center?

Easter table decorations

Easter favors…

tiny favors always look so sweet and they never have to be elaborate or expensive!  try filling an egg with simple goodies…

Easter table ideas

when guests & family crack them open…there’s a treat hiding inside!

Easter table favor ideas

a happy little addition!

Easter table ideas

let’s eat!

this Easter table was simply set with plastic plates on dollar bin chargers…but topped with yummy bites!

Easter table ideas

and on the menu?  my family’s favorite egg casserole!

Easter table casserole

a really delicious and easy recipe that’s lovely enough for a holiday brunch!  i baked it in a casserole pan then dished it up individually, topping them with extra croutons and herbs!

Easter breakfast casserole

sweet carrots your bunnies will love!

you can  serve a holiday surprise by turning a breakfast scone into a carrot!

Easter table ideas

use your favorite recipe and cut the dough into triangular shapes.  once they bake and cool, you just add icing!  green on top and a drizzle of orange on the bottom!

Easter table ideas carrot scones

a really fun and tasty treat for an Easter table!

Easter table ideas

the napkins are held with my favorite dollar spot napkin rings from last year…

Easter table ideas

and the napkins are really not napkins at all!  they’re lightweight tea towels…so i can reuse them in the kitchen later!!

Easter table ideas

tiny details…

lots of confetti dots and speckles were on this table so i popped a dotty straw to each glass…one of the easiest ways to add a happy detail!

Easter table ideas

on an adjacent table sits a container with more springtime straws.  you can do this so effortlessly to create a pretty & useful “decoration”!

Easter table ideas

a single Easter decoration taking center stage is all that you need!  my favorite bunny family sits on my buffet & it’s the only true holiday decor in the room besides what’s on the table!

Easter table decorations

so when you get ready to set your Easter table, keep in mind that looking fun doesn’t have to mean going all out!  simple details will be equally as joyful AND appreciated!

Easter table ideas

so set the table

and have a happy Easter!

i’ll be taking some time off to enjoy the holiday and spend time with my family!  but i’ll be back after the holiday with plenty of spring and warm weather celebration inspiration and favorite things!  stay tuned, and best wishes for a wonderful holiday!

I love how you can make breakfast an event for your family! What a cute table and yummy recipes. I hardly ever bake anymore but when I did I loved scones. I’m definitely trying out the egg scramble but i might have to bust out my flour and try the sconces as well!
