Easter favors can be such fun to hand out at your holiday gatherings! Whether your hosting an egg hunt, breakfast or brunch you just might offer up some take-home treats to your guests…so why not set up a sweet little table filled with tiny gifts to thank your favorite peeps for coming! Favors never need to be elaborate, they’re just small gestures of appreciation…but that doesn’t mean they can’t be darling…or delicious! Today I’ve partnered with Grand Rapids Popcorn Company to share with you some Easter fun that includes a simple DIY that will surely bring extra happiness to your holiday celebrations! See how easy it can be to share bunnies and baskets with your family and friends!
hop on up for Easter favors!
if you’ve got some little bunnies (or big bunnies) comin’ over for some Easter fun, you can send them home with a mini basket filled with something sweet!
let me share with you how easy it is to make them…
treat basket DIY
what you’ll need to make the mini handled baskets:
treat/cupcake cups
strips of paper
glue gun or glue sitck
stickers (optional)
cut strips of paper approximately 8″ long & 1/2″ wide…
measure 1/2″ from the end of each strip and mark with a pencil. this will give you a guide when gluing and for keeping the handles the same length on each basket.
then with a low temp glue gun or glue stick, attach each handle on the outside of the treat cup. if you look closely you can barely see my guide mark on the inside of the handle on the left…
continue gluing all the handles onto the remaining baskets…
then you can add some cute stickers…
i loved these sweet flowers that already had adhesive on the back…so easy!
berry baskets
i also chose some simple, paper berry containers and more colorful stickers to make a second goodie basket!
just pop a sticker on the front…it doesn’t get any easier than that!
to keep the baskets clean and also add some ruffled fun…i lined each with a paper coffee filter!
for the little baskets, you’ll need to alter the filter a bit. just cut a slit into the center
roll it into a cone shape, and press it into the cup…
i just love how the filters create such sweet ruffles!
now, let’s fill ’em!
i LOVE this colorful Spring Crunch Popcorn! it’s so delicious and festive in these pretty little Easter favors!
and the addition of the coffee filter allows even more of these sweet, crunchy morsels to fit down inside!
i topped my pretty cake stands with a round of greenery so it looks like the little baskets are nestled into the grass…
the berry baskets are also filled with something sweet…
what goes better with Butter Toffee Caramel Corn than some chocolate!
chocolate chicks and bunnies are the perfect accompaniment to the buttery corn!
more bunnies…
the sign does say BUNNIES and baskets…
so i nestled some extra chocolate bunnies in a grass-filled crate…all for the taking!
foil wrapped bunnies are always a favorite!
a simple set up that will be sure to please!
so tell your guests to “hop on up”…and take some!
bunnies & baskets…Easter joy!
