We’re in the midst of football season and I think it’s fair to say most of us put out some game day snacks whether we’re diehard fans or just casual watchers! You can love football or even hate it…but there’s lots of fun associated with the game no matter how you slice it or dice it…meaning, a tailgate celebration or yummy themed snacks can delight even the non-sport enthusiast! I say all the time how much I adore easy snack ideas…it’s my belief that if you keep it simple, you’ll be more likely to actually serve up a special treat! So today, in partnership with Grand Rapids Popcorn, I’d like to share a SUPER easy treat table for a football afternoon…whether you have 3 or 33 guests, these snacks are so easy you could effortlessly delight a crowd! The countdown is on for this weekend’s pig skin parties…so get ready to score an easy dessert-time win!
game day-snack day!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
simple goodies make it possible to serve up just a few OR a lot of people!
one of my favorite snacks to serve at ANY occasion is popcorn! the munchy-crunchy goodness is so addicting and it can satisfy a crowd too!
for my family, i filled up some football themed cups…but for a crowd, a big self-serve bowl would be perfect!
this caramel apple crunch corn is as delicious as it is pretty!
an apothecary jar holds second servings along side some tiny cupcakes topped with cookies…yum!
if you’re a parent or anyone who loves sugar cookies…you might recognize these Pillsbury goodies…
i baked them up ahead and popped them in the freezer until game day! they sure dress up these store-bought sweets!
no matter what type of beverages you might serve, you can suit them up for game day…
our favorite root beer looks rather fun in these beverage coolers…but an easy alternative would be to wrap the bottle in brown paper and use a paint marker to make the “stitching”!
can you see the details on these fun sippers? paper straws are always a festive touch!
i added some artificial grass to mimic the turf…other substitutes could be decorative paper or a strip of indoor-outdoor carpet!
i hope you enjoyed these easy game day snack ideas…
whether they’re just for your kiddos or for a football-fan crowd, you can always find simple ways to serve up the fun!
play ball & snack well!
