Serving St. Patrick’s Day cocktails is a surefire way to get your holiday celebration off to a festive start! Whether its a cocktail OR a mocktail…a green beverage is mandatory for for many party-goers for toasting the day! So I’m really excited to share this super simple and delicious recipe that would be perfect for a lady leprechaun party! Dainty, pretty, and a sweet sip to enjoy with a treat or two while hanging with your friends! Not to exclude the gentlemen…but it IS a sip that seems geared toward the ladies! So if you’re having any gal pals over for a pre-party libations you won’t want to miss this easy setup!
let’s get the party started with…
st. patrick’s day cocktails!
you may know by now i try to be a no-fuss celebrator! so i’m always enamored with a practically effortless table of party goodies and decorations!
sparkling shamrock cocktails
…so EASY and a delicious compliment to lucky cupcakes on a simple treat table!
all you need to make them~
Midori, melon flavored liqueur
prosecco or sparkling wine (brut is best to counter the sweet liqueur, unless you love sweet!)
melon wedges
swizzle sticks, optional
i poured the Midori into a tiny pitcher so guests could add as much or little as they liked…but a simple splash will do!
i cut a honeydew melon into wedges and threaded them onto decorative skewers. you could also thread melon balls…but i found the wedges to be easier & quicker!
guests can grab a flute and mix their own St. Patrick’s Day cocktail! it’s such a pretty color don’t you think?
extra wine glasses are for any guests who want a simple vino instead! i love these cuties i picked up a few seasons ago!
simple sweets!
this cocktail is great paired with a dessert…
light & airy vanilla cupcakes topped with some lucky gold are just the right amount of sweetness!
a chocolate coin, oversized confetti and green sprinkles make a perfect holiday crown!
easy extras!
a party table can get festive quick with the simplest things! a tiny bow with a shamrock tucked in makes a darling AND easy detail on the stand…
cute paper napkins are useful and can double duty as part of the decor!
and a big balloon never hurts! i love that you can find these fun decorations almost anywhere now…and for just a few dollars!
sweet & easy sparkling shamrock cocktails can help you say…
“cheers” to the holiday!
