Fresh baked scones are such a delicious treat any time of year! But they also make a lovely Mother’s Day gift! Today I’m sharing a super simple recipe to make a sweet treat for mom…and you can even pack it up and pop it in the mail! If you can’t be with your mother this year, try something new and have a virtual coffee with her instead! You can whip up this easy breakfast goodie and send it along with some pretty paper products so your mom can have a cheerful & special morning! Set your table too…and then FaceTime her for a fun way to celebrate across the miles! I’ve teamed up with Sprinkles & Confetti to share this simple idea AND the recipe for one of my family’s favorites!
have a sweet Mother’s Day Morning with fresh baked scones!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
all occasions look different right now…but that doesn’t mean we still can’t celebrate in easy style!
you can appreciate mom with a simply set table full of coffee and scones…you just might need to pack some of it up and ship it to her!
let’s begin with the scones…
grab the printable recipe at the end of the post and make some for your family AND some to take or mail to mom!
serve them up with some butter…
and some toppings! i used lemon curd…
honey & jelly…
and you have the sweetest (literally) breakfast treat for any occasion!
let’s have a virtual celebration!
since we can’t be together this year, try sending your mom a matching set of paper products along with your treats and then use technology to have a virtual coffee with her!
show her how your table would look even though she’s not at it right now…
you could coordinate so she can set her table too…or she can save her goodies for another time!
either way, you can share a morning of sipping & nibbling in a special way!
along with the pretty, disposable goodies, i added some springtime details to my table…
DIY stir sticks are such happy little additions AND you could make something similar to add to your gift package too!
the daisies are actually stickers secured to the stick with a dollop of hot glue…so easy!
and the cake plate gets a matching look by adding a floral headband (yes i said headband!) to the rim!
put it altogether for a special morning shared with technology…and love!
so far or near…serve up fresh baked scones for Mother’s Day!
happy baking, nibbling, sharing!
