It is always fun to find an unused area and carve out a little space for yourself or your family! My favorite thing about this awkward nook in my kitchen is the chalkboard wall! This space has been a challenge for years…and while we have come up with ways to use it in the past, it now functions so much better as a message center and storage area for many of our Giggle Glitter products & supplies. The chalkboard wall is ideal for me to jot reminders for my family as well as have fun with some stenciling…not to mention that it is irresistible to kid doodling! This space is full of simple ideas that work in a big way! Old tins, vases and mugs make for unique & attractive storage for items that need to be handy…and I believe the more mismatched these containers are, the more personalized & relaxed your space becomes!

they help all of us who are challenged with the gift of good penmanship!
lovin’ this lard tin to hold wrapping paper & shred!

a fun way to cover a window that doesn’t require privacy…a paper garland makes a great alternative! by cutting the length to fit the window and hanging with push pins, this was an effortless and really inexpensive way to dress up this window…and with a little whimsy!
adding to the whimsy…doodles!
this garland is slightly reminiscent of retro door beads…
