Easter is going to be here before we know it and it’s a wonderful time to prepare your home for spring! If you’re planning on entertaining friends & family for holiday celebrations it’s always lovely to add some Easter touches to your rooms! But when holidays fall close together on the calendar–it can be really hard to fit all that decorating in around busy schedules! Still, I love to decorate so I really need to find easy & simple ways to embellish my home that will bring joy without all the fuss! I’ve featured the chalk wall over my mantle before…and it really is a fun way to add festivity with a simple piece of chalk! I understand not everyone wants to draw on their living room walls…but I believe in sharing inspiration…take an idea and re-configure it to make it work for you! So that said, I will share some simple holiday displays…I hope you find some Easter inspiration just right for your home!
Hop into the Easter spirit…
the inset on my wall is painted…but you could just as easily hang or lean a large chalkboard or springtime illustration on the mantle! (if you don’t have a Giggle magnetic chalkboard…i know where you can get one!)
wood letters got a quick spritz of gold paint–and spooled wire was easy to loosely wrap around each making a whimsical garland!
a minimalistic row of succulents line the ledge, sort of like a cabbage patch!
i planted them in candle holders…a fun alternative to terracotta!
i love the color of succulents…
and they’re so low maintenance–even i can keep them alive!
some more “bunny” inspiration…
this bunny bust from etsy makes a sweet addition to my room…and can hang around well after Easter has passed!
all you need to do is tuck in a bunny or two…this little guy sits near jars holding votive candles…simple as that!
so don’t let this holiday get away without adding a little “hop” to your home! nothing fancy, nothing fussy…just uniquely you!
