On our recent trip to Disney I had so much fun checking out all the wonderful gardens on the properties…talk about floral inspiration! But of all the gardens, one in particular caught my eye… such a fun and whimsical idea that you could even do at home with younger gardeners. With the new Disney-Pixar animated movie Inside Out in theaters today, I thought it fitting to share these adorable blooms planted just for the new flick! Take a peek at this garden that represents the emotions from Inside Out!
add a little emotion to your garden…
joy!
i love this idea! how fun to color coordinate the gardens in the emotion colors!
feeling a little blue?
blue may represent sadness…but these pretty blue & purple posies look anything but gloomy!
oops! i forgot the disgusting plants represented by green! oh well, i’m sure those plants don’t love being considered disgusting anyway! (no offense to Mindy Kaling–playing the voice of disgust! she is so funny!) check out fear…
fire red for anger…
what a cute container garden idea! kids would love it–and it would be so easy to do on a small scale too! if you have little ones at home this could be a fun project–filling up some hours and teaching a thing or two about emotions! finding plants to represent feelings sounds like fun to me! let the small people just paint their own containers or simply write the emotion on the side…then pot them up! and when you’re done with your mini garden…pop everyone in the car and head off to see the movie!
