Have you ever thought about hosting a flower potting party? This time of year has me so anxious to fill my planters with colorful blooms to add a touch of cheer to my outdoor spaces! And what could be more fun than to plant something pretty AND have a party at the same time? A sweet & festive activity for kids, an afternoon of blooming fun with girlfriends, or even a lovely idea for a Mother’s Day celebration…potting up some pretty posies is a party idea that will make anyone happy! I’m so thrilled to bring you this festive party inspiration in partnership with Fun to Eat Fruit and Fun on Paper…so needless to say, this party will be filled with FUN! So gather some friends, pull on the garden gloves…and let’s get planting!
get your bloom on…potting party fun!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinion s are my own
a pretty potting station and a colorful treat table can’t help but make your guests smile!
the theme is easy…everything flowers! let’s start with the potting bench…
bloom where you are planted!
a sweet, tiny tag adds big detail!
guests can grab their own pot filled with the essentials for planting!
pretty garden gloves and a cheerful, hand trowel are tucked into each pot…
paper leaves are labeled with the initial of each guest…
and beautiful apples are scattered about for some healthy snacking!
fill a crate or basket with all the pretty blooms for planting and let guests pick & choose to create their own springtime pot!
potting party sips!
potting up pretty plants just might make you thirsty…so serve up your favorite cold beverages to beat the springtime heat!
each cup is embellished with a garden-related word! “harvest”~ “grow”~ “bloom”…
and “sprout”! perfect for making simple, disposable cups look grand holding some chilly, iced tea!
sweet, blooming treats!
nibbles for a party don’t have to be over the top…to look over the top!
just a few decorations can really make a simple spread look amazing!
a cake topper and some fresh flowers can transform a grocery store cake into a work of art!
i’m absolutely in love with this cake top by Fun On Paper! it’s the crowning touch on this simple cake!
and how about out these darling apples!? they couldn’t be more perfect for this party…and the edible design is a delightful surprise on the treat table!
i served up more grocery store treats in whimsical way by dropping them inside tiny pots! i can’t think of a more perfect cupcake cup for a potting party!
decorate with flower power!
you can never have too many flowers…in my opinion! and at a potting party it stands to reason that this unofficial rule would definitely apply!
this adorable banner makes the sweetest backdrop…
you can always let a decoration help inspire you…like how these miniature flowers set the color scheme for the entire party!
tiny cups of mints are nestled inside paper baskets and serve not only as treats but pretty decorations!
beautiful, intricate detail!
a treat table that’s blooming in more ways than one!
festive & healthy favors!
you already saw the beautiful Fun To Eat Fruit apples scattered about the tables…but they were just too cute to not send more home with guests. so a pyramid of printed apples was waiting to get “picked”
piling them on a cupcake stand was a fun way to display them!
guests could grab a few to take and share with their families! who wouldn’t smile after receiving one of these?
i hope this party got you excited for spring! a great excuse to celebrate with the blooms we’ve been waiting so long to see!
celebrate springtime with a potting party!

I love love this! I’d be in heaven to attend a plant potting party. The details are so much fun. Love the printed apples and that floral banner is just amazing. From a distance it looks like it’s printed. I can’t believe the detail on those little paper flowers.
