A ladies night lemonade party was a fun way for me to celebrate with a few friends! Late summer & early fall evenings are so perfect for enjoying the outdoors and some seasonal sips. I was really lucky to start my little “stay-cation” and time off social media with this kind of small gathering! And to say safe, we socially distanced around a table of lemonade-inspired drinks & desserts…and we each had an individual “charcuterie” filled with healthy nibbles! The takeaway from this ladies night “in” (or “outside” I should say) was that simple goodies can still be grand! Easy details from the kitchen & garden made simple snacks look pretty. And as always, who’s gathered together is what makes any occasion a special one! So when life deals out lemons…it’s definitely time to make lemonade! Do you know what else? PINK lemonade adds extra cheer! Check out the super simple, lemon-inspired fun!
“yes way” to lemonade spritzers…and to ladies night!
sips and sweets on an outdoor table will make anyone smile!
cheers to simple cocktails & mocktails!
ordinary items can inspire any theme…like the darling spritzer cans!
the packaging is sooo cute and perfect for a ladies night lemonade party!
mimicking the wine spritzers…i added an ice bucket to the table filled with white wine and limoncello sparkling waters!
and of course…pink lemonade! it’s always nice to have a few non alcoholic choices for any gathering.
fresh lemon slices not only add flavor to the purchased mix…but they look pretty too!
a little tray with stemware is embellished with a cordial glass holding a couple blooms. tiny bouquets can pack a big punch so don’t worry if the garden is getting bare!
easy sweets & snacks!
casual gatherings should be just that! store bought goodies are perfectly OK and can be easily gussied up!
these bakery lemon bars look extra special with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, herbs & edible flowers…
and a piece of cheesecloth makes a great flying insect protector for the goodies!
i added cheesecloth to the individual charcuterie plates too…an inexpensive way to keep the critters off!
guests could access their light snacks by lifting the cloth to reveal a super simple spread…
i used more edible flowers and herbs from the garden to dress up the disposable plate.
party tip:
if you don’t have blooms or herbs, you can often purchase tiny pots at garden centers for much less than cut flowers, and look for sprigs of herbs in the produce section in your local grocer.
gathering safely means spreading out…so chairs were carefully spaced around the table.
and speaking of the “table”…the hot weather allowed me to improvise, using my fire pit as the base for an old table top! a reminder to get creative and use what you’ve got!
get inspired, get creative, get safely social! serve up some lemonade fun to your peeps on a late summer eve!
yes way to ladies & lemonade!
