Last-minute holiday centerpiece ideas are great…especially as the calendar counts on! With all the hustle and bustle of Christmas upon us, it’s easy to forget some holiday details. But not to worry! I’ve got some really easy inspiration for you today! Take a peek at what you already have around the house and I bet you’ll find plenty to dress your table! I’m going to share four ideas to create a centerpiece that will help make your Christmas table shine. I promise I bought nothing to do this. You might even recognize some of the goods! And if you see an idea you love and you don’t have the supplies…they can be inexpensively found in most stores including your grocer! So let’s get creative…
and dress up the holiday table!
pretty baubles…
ornaments are often plentiful around the house this time of year…gather a few together to make a sparkly display!
raid your china cabinet for some stemware…matching pieces NOT required!
i used crafting sand to fill the bottom of the glass and gently hold the ornament in place. no craft sand? use sugar or rice!
i took these ornaments right off my tree! you can color coordinate, or just pick any favorites to make a merry display!
i scattered some minis across the mirror for extra shine!
but if you don’t have a mirror handy…try a tray, plate, or festive paper plates to hold your menagerie!
party tip:
mirrors can now be found in the baking section of many hobby & craft stores. they’re used for displaying cakes and are much more reasonably priced than a mirror you’d hang on the wall!
fill a basket…
this is a super easy one! find a small basket and fill it with a pretty holiday sign, greens, berries and garland!
the extra greens & garland are tucked in tightly to help hold the darling sign in place! (and i plucked the berries from a vase in my kitchen!)
if you don’t have a sign…try photos, cards, or any favorite decoration like a star or a nativity!
collection obsession…
if you know me well, you know i’m obsessed with bottlebrush trees! but collections work wonderfully as simple and meaningful centerpiece decor!
these simple trees (some you might have seen in last week’s post) are new and vintage. this one belonged to my grandmother making it extra endearing…
you can use varying shapes and colors…no right or wrong when you use things you love!
lined up down my table, this simple collection makes a lovely, last-minute holiday centerpiece don’t you think?
if bottlebrush trees aren’t your thing, try any holiday collection…snowmen, Santas or nutcrackers!
bake a centerpiece…
this last one might be my favorite! if you baked cookies this season…why not use some on the Christmas table?
i had some extra cutouts from my cookie party in the freezer…
all you need is a clear cookie jar or container filled with a little sugar, a wreath or greens, and your yummy treats!
set the jar directly on the wreath (or lay the greens at the base). tuck the cookies right in the sugar, top it with the lid, and you’ve got a darling centerpiece that you could even eat later!
if you don’t have a clear cookie or candy container, try using a pretty bowl OR putting the cookies in the stemware like the first option!
search your home to decorate your Christmas table…
last-minute but still beautiful!
pin for later~

I love how simple and gorgeous these table decorations are. And the idea of using decorated cookies is so smart!

Thanks so much Bri! I figured we had enough cookies that I could decorate with some! 🙂
