Last-minute Thanksgiving centerpiece ideas might be just what you’re looking for this holiday season! It’s been a strange year to plan any kind of gatherings…so decision making is often left to the last days! But no matter how you decide to celebrate, setting a pretty table is a tradition many of us want to keep. It doesn’t have to be stressful or expensive either. You can set a table that will make your celebration special…no matter how small it may be! Today I’d like to show you how to take items from your house and dress them up for your holiday feast! So let’s get started by shopping your home…
and setting a festive table!
setting a fall table can be so easy if you take a peek at what you have around the house! do you have leftover pumpkins and gourds? gather them together and make a “runner”…
casually place them down the center of the table…
tiny sprigs tied to the top of the largest one makes a sweet detail. just forage your craft bins or yard for supplies!
you can also tuck in extra natural items like pine cones, wheat, or grasses. i used rick-rack to tie little bundles together.
the clusters of gourds and goodies make a simple table look bountiful!
tom turkey!
on my buffet sits my favorite thanksgiving decoration…but he’d make a beautiful centerpiece too! i just set him inside a wreath with more faux embellishments tucked in…
if you have a favorite piece of decor, consider it for your centerpiece. easily dress it up with a wreath, garlands or greens placed around base!
dried & DIY-ed!
if you have some old bottles laying around, try painting them! you can create a cluster of “matching” vases to fill with dried & faux grasses!
i already had a few white vases on hand…
and found an inexpensive way to expand my collection! some white spray paint and old bottles did the trick…the three on the right are upcycled!
a super fun way to make a statement en-masse!
this little spice bottle isn’t fancy with it’s dried stems but adds just enough charm anyway!
as does this planter with the faux variety! never be afraid to mix real with artificial…often times you can’t even tell the difference!
so set your table simple and sweet…
with a last-minute Thanksgiving centerpiece!
