lemon party…picnic style!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own.
a sweet little setup for a dessert picnic is definitely an autumn treat!
little painted pumpkins…
and the cutest printables make this simple celebration look grand!
let’s start at the DIY beginning…
painted pumpkins
you can customize almost anything to match a party with easy-to-use spray paint!
painters tape will keep the stem looking natural…just wrap it up before you spray!
a little moss around the edges of the stem…and i’ve got 4 little gems to match the fun printables!
you can find these darling mason jar decorations at Pixels and Pop! go check out all her designs!
lemon cheesecake parfaits
you can create a special treat by serving ANY dessert in a mason jar!
i used a purchased no-bake cheesecake to whip up really quick parfaits but you could try the recipe i have at the end of the post! just make the cookie crust…
and with a spoon, press it into each small mason jar…
you can make the crust as thin or thick as you’d like. i made mine a little thicker because it’s my favorite part!
mix up your cheesecake or custard mixture…
and spoon it over the top of the crumb crust.
purchased lemon curd is a delicious, tart topping for the parfaits!
spoon a few dollops of the lemon curd over the top of the custard or cheesecake mix…
and with the back of the spoon, gently spread it over the entire surface…
once you’ve filled all the jars, wipe any drips off the rims before adding the lid.
i cut out the easy-to-print jar decorations and used them to embellish the lids! they make a cute treat even cuter!
i kept the mason jars in the refrigerator until picnic time!
set the picnic table!
a treat like this doesn’t take much to create…
each setting gets embellished with simple mason jars…to hold the desserts AND refreshing lemonade! the sweet yellow pumpkins are a such a happy detail & can also be used as a party favors!
mis-matched spoons and paper straws add some whimsy…and is a good way to use up leftover party supplies!
and the jar wraps on the lemonade effortlessly add pattern and color. i love plaid anything for fall!
and though you can use the round printables on the drinks too…i adore them on the lids of the dessert!
another jar filled with sunflowers & nasturtium is a casual but perfect centerpiece for this fall table!
simple, sweet, and a blend of summer & fall…
lemon makes life lovely!
