Mini charcuteries for Halloween are a delicious, and not-so-spooky treat your guests will love! Little, individual appetizers are so fun for displaying at each plate on a holiday table. They look cute, they’re not too big to interfere with a meal, and you can be as creative as you want with what you put on them! Halloween might seem far away…but the time has been flying and it’ll be here before we know it! So today I want to share simple inspiration for serving up a bewitching little treat to your best “goul-friends”! And the best thing about mini charcuteries is that you can take the basic information and tweak it to fit any holiday or celebration! So let’s put a sweet spell on your guests while they gather ’round the table!
mini charcuteries…Halloween style!
when witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers ’tis near Halloween! ~annonymous
setting a table for any holiday can be a fun event! little details don’t have to be hard but can make the occasion feel extra special!
mini charcuterie boards on each plate make a cute appetizer and help a simple table look pretty!
a pretty faux flower and cocktail napkin also add to a minimal setting! such easy things to pop on top of the plate…
each board has a small assortment of goodies on top…just enough for a pre-meal nibble. AND a mini broomstick adds extra holiday charm!
party tip:
when choosing goodies for a halloween inspired treat, try adding dark & muted colors to create moody appetizer! these charcuteries included black sesame crackers, water crackers, herb cheese, blueberry goat cheese, blueberries, plums, and dried figs!
the tiny broomsticks blended with the centerpiece at the end of the table…a great place to put it if you don’t have room!
even though i was going for a softer “witchy” theme, I couldn’t find enough brooms for all my boards…so i substituted craft pumpkins on a couple. a reminder to not get too hung up on perfection!
my farm table is really skinny, so it can be difficult to set full. the drinks sit on the buffet until guests arrive…
not only does this save initial space on the table, but it gave me an extra place to decorate!
nothing crazy…just drinks, extra napkins, and of course, pumpkins!!
have your halloween friends grab their hats & broomsticks…
and join you for an enchanting & delicious treat…
halloween starters…
for a bewitching good time!
