A New Year Celebration is such a fun way to start January off with a bang! Gathering with family and friends to celebrate the joys of the past year and the anticipation of what’s to come is a tradition for many! Whether you go big at a New Year’s Bash or keep it small…there’s no right or wrong way to ring in the new year! My family often celebrates at home with a handful of friends…keeping it low-key but never any less festive! This year our simple party spread will shine like a diamond…and I hope the New Year will too!
let’s ring in the new year with some bling!
it’s easy to find economical ways to add sparkle to a table of simple goodies…
like this cake topper which is made from party-favor wands…
embellished with glitter stickers!
a roll of bling from the ribbon department makes a pretty “runner” and mini disco-ball lights look adorable scattered about with glittery paper shapes! simple ideas for adding holiday sparkle to the table!
i added a custom touch to the wood forks…remember you can change just about anything with a little paint…and glitter!
the tiny ornaments make a festive addition to the mini champagne bottles! always shop the Christmas sale section…you may find goodies for upcoming celebrations!
i used extra “bling” ribbon to put some sparkle on the big bottle too…a little tape does the trick!
what’s more festive than paper straws? EMBELLISHED paper straws!
more glittery shapes and a little glue make custom sippers!
the pretty paper plates were the inspiration for the color palette…plenty of silver, a touch of pink and iridescent glimmer!
doughnuts make easy AND delicious bites…all dressed with a festive topper!
attaching stickers to a plain bunting garland is the easiest way to create a last-minute, custom banner for a celebration. it hangs above a wall decoration i painted and tucked into a clear container to stand it upright…it was a whimsical way to serve the treats AND tie in the theme! but remember, a pretty stand would be equally as festive and much quicker!
so it’s not too late to have a festive evening with your favorite peeps! celebrate the past…and make wishes for a joyful new year!
best wishes to you for a wonderful 2019!
