New Year’s Eve celebrations are just days away…but you can still party in grand style with an easy charcuterie that will be certain to impress! Charcuterie boards are one of my favorite appetizers because they’re super simple to put together even for a last-minute party! While a “true” charcuterie would mean a platter full of meats…the definition to many has gradually changed to a “grazing board”. This means you can now add just about ANYTHING you want to your edible display! New Year’s Eve is a perfect opportunity to create this beautiful array of goodies to serve to friends and family. Pull together all the leftover treats from Christmas and serve them right on the tabletop…no special trays or platters needed! I’m really excited to partner with Fun to Eat Fruit to bring you some inspiration for sipping and nibbling the night away! I promise it’s easy and simple but will look every bit as festive as the holiday itself! The year is coming to an end and I’ll wrap it up with my favorite phrase…celebrate simple and celebrate often!
ring in 2020 with a New Year’s Eve Charcuterie!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
my favorite thing about this style of serving party food is that anything goes! add all your holiday favorites…
a grazing table allows guests to nibble on a big assortment. i added savory AND sweet choices…
as well as some holiday noise-makers…always fun for New Year’s Eve celebrations!
but if you didn’t have time to grab any New Year trinkets…add some Christmas candies to a cordial glass and scatter them about instead! you could also use confetti or tinsel for a festive alternative!
easy steps for creating a charcuterie table
if you have a tabletop…you have the perfect surface for a grazing station! just line an area with parchment or wax paper and pile on the goods!
a centerpiece is a great way to break up the large collage of food. an urn filled with greens, fruit and champagne…
was a simple way to crown the treat table!
begin your design by adding the larger items like whole fruits, cheeses, even bottles of bubbly…
for holiday celebrations try adding mini “wreaths” to the table too!
you can create this by making a ring of fresh herbs topped with olives and tiny peppers. it doesn’t have to be perfect to add a festive pattern to the charcuterie design!
once all the large & decorative goodies are in place…just start filling in the gaps around them.
simple appetizer skewers are fun to add the the mix…
as well as other popular choices like salami, crackers, cookies, figs, nuts and fruit…
i just adore these apples with their festive message!
and it wouldn’t be right to not have bubbly of some sort on a New Year’s table! you can find mini bottles of sparkling wine or juices in most grocery stores!
a paper straw tied on with sparkly ribbon makes it easy for guests to pop & sip!
festive desserts = happy New Year’s Eve celebrations!
New Year’s Eve celebrations need bubbly AND a decadent dessert to indulge on before the resolutions begin!
a beautiful cake will delight any guest! pop one on the table to cut at midnight!
if you’re ringing in the New Year with family & friends…try celebrating charcuterie style!
sweet wishes for a wonderful 2020!!

Lori! This table is incredible! I did a mini version on New Year’s Day but now you’ve inspired me to up my game and do a full on table instead of a platter. So many fun details. I love the herb wreath and how you incorporated the savory and sweet throughout the whole table. Happy New year!!
