A summer fiesta is such a festive party theme! The bright colors and patterns just make you happy…and the food options are equally delightful!  Each summer my family hosts a themed celebration for a few friends.  It’s been such a fun tradition and a family affair with our kids & their comrades too!  Keeping it casual but filled with fun, thematic decor makes each party special and easy to pull off. It warms our hearts to see our guests enjoy the festivities to the fullest!  So today I’d love to share some ideas for hosting a summer fiesta (or any gathering) so you can share that joy!  For those who have followed along, you know I love super casual entertaining.  But once in a while it’s great to go all out…but you can still keep your sanity and budget in tact! I hope you find the inspiration I share today helpful for your next big or small event.  And be sure to grab a special coupon code and recipe at the end!  Let’s celebrate the remainder of summer…

A summer salad board is a wonderful way to present a light, casual meal.  I’m a big fan of charcuterie boards and this twist is one of my favorites!  It’s a super easy way to present a healthy meal option in beautiful fashion.  If you have a large board or platter you’re equipped with what you need…along with your nibbling options!  You can go right from your kitchen to patio table and allow your family or guests to dine in serve-yourself style.  Just like a traditional charcuterie, pile on all your favorites for a customized meal!  Let’s enjoy summer with no-stress outdoor dining!

A spring flower-cuterie board might have you scratching your head.  But the trendy, traditional charcuterie has morphed into so many creative versions I thought trying it in a decorative way would be fun!  Instead of food why not cluster pretty little bouquets on a board to create a seasonal centerpiece? It doesn’t have to be elaborate and you don’t need to have floral arranging skills to make one either! The season offers up all kinds of beautiful options that you can often find right outside your door!  Let me share how simple it can be to bring snippets of springtime to your table or any celebration you might be planning…

Blue and neutrals might not seem traditional colors for Easter.  But this color combo can create a casual, farmhouse feel that is beautiful for any holiday!  Unexpected colors are always a visual treat and allow you to utilize dishes you love.  It can be fun to set a fancy table, but it is never necessary to obtain an inviting atmosphere where guests will want to linger.  To me, this is what holiday dinners should be about.  So today I’d like to share a more casual version of what my Easter table will look like this year.  Simple and rustic but not missing holiday vibes!  Easter comes early this year…but you don’t have to stress.  A relaxed table never means uninspiring!   I hope you enjoy this casual inspiration…

A cocoa bomb “cake topper” is a darling way to decorate a holiday dessert!  Easy, quick and cute as a button too! Earlier this fall I found a fun cocoa bomb that I used on a cake for Halloween.  And this Christmas, the hot chocolate options didn’t disappoint.  Cocoa bombs are plentiful and come in so many whimsical shapes now.  You can use them to make a special cup of cocoa, or give as a holiday gift. But you can also use them in unexpected ways to make seasonal treats really stand out.  If you’re looking for quick & simple cake decorating ideas, what I’m sharing today is definitely for you! Whether you bake one yourself or buy it from the grocer, you can quickly transform it into holiday joy.  Let’s save the cocoa sipping for later and adorn our desserts instead!
