Since the big turkey day is only a couple weeks away, I’m excited to share some really simple and creative ideas to set a rustic Thanksgiving table! Everyone seems to get a tad stressed when it comes to these celebratory, holiday meals…and unfortunately I can’t offer much professional advice concerning the overall meal prep as I’m not so great at it myself! (my husband & mother get to take most of that credit!) But I can show you some really easy inspiration to add special touches to your table that will make any meal look amazing! I enjoy keeping things on the casual side…but that doesn’t mean I have to skimp on the pretty! So today I’ve teamed up with my friends at Fun to Eat Fruit and Espresso Dave’s to share some unique ways to make your Thanksgiving celebration shine! Whether you love rustic decor, something elegant, or even whimsical…you can take these ideas and apply them to whatever works for you! So let’s get ready to give thanks ’round a thoughtful table!
rustic Thanksgiving table…relaxed celebration!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
my $5 garage sale table is perfect for a casual and rustic setting…
it might show lots of workshop wear and tear…but i love it just the same as if it came from an expensive shop! (maybe more!)
i set the table with simple elements and first-course goodies to start the feast!
autumn inspired appetizers
try serving some appetizers inside hollowed-out squash…
a wonderfully rustic container that’s perfect for the season!
i just cut the top off the squash, hollowed it out and brushed the inside & top with olive oil before filling it…
how cute is this white acorn squash filled with cranberry, goat-cheese butter…(grab the recipe at the end)
just slice a little off the bottom to allow the rustic vessel to stand straight. i just adore the way they look on the fall table!
sip on some soup!
sticking with the theme, butternut squash soup is on the menu…with a fun embellishment!
these edible toppers from Espresso Dave’s are a beautiful and unexpected detail for my guests…
simple details…
the artistic embellishment in the soup dresses up my everyday china…and do you spy the little gourd on the bread plate?
a festive favor for guests to take! i love how Fun to Eat Fruit can print a logo on fruit…or even gourds!
tufts of baby’s breath are tucked into simple napkin rings…
to mimic the bundles popping out of the baskets! an easy way to make the tiny potted mums look bigger!
all these easy elements come together to make a rustic Thanksgiving table look grand!
gather for thankful sips!
when serving up a casual dinner, i love to offer a serve-yourself beverage table…
extra nibbles are always fun to include….and a mason jar filled with bread sticks is easily rustic!
a simple message…
and decor from nature make a casual yet gorgeous drink table without too much fuss!
i’m just giddy for the printed gourds…they really add unique beauty to this holiday display!
next to the drink station i placed a basket of plaid throws…
just in case the cool breezes require a bit of snuggling!
i hope you found some inspiration for your holiday feast…
and that you have many reasons to be thankful this year!
’tis the season to give thanks!
