I’m really excited to be a part of a virtual baby shower today! Seven bloggers & stylists have come together to share inspiration & ideas for a Safari Themed Baby Shower AND to celebrate a fellow blogger in anticipation of her new baby! It’s all part of a Blog Hop to make it easy to “hop” along and see some safari fun just for baby! If you’re popping over here from Valerie’s blog, Val Around Town, I’m sure you loved her glam baby shower backdrop! (The next “hop” link will be at the end of this post!) I’m sharing a gift idea…a handcrafted Giggle magnet board, custom created for a safari themed nursery! AND also sneaking in a couple easy ideas for party decorations and topping sweet treats! So let’s keep going and see all the fun!
let’s go on safari…in a baby shower hop!
a magnet board can be a really sweet gift idea for a baby shower…it can showcase baby announcements, cards, or photos!
the magnets are crafted with vintage jewelry & buttons and a baby block or two…a cute addition to a nursery!
it can also double duty as a party backdrop! the grass fringe & paper leaves are easy ways to add safari touches behind a gift or treat table!
and any celebration requires a special treat! greenery tucked into a dessert stand makes a perfect pedestal for simple & sweet safari themed cupcakes!
if you can’t find the perfect cake topper…don’t forget to browse the party favor section at the party shop! these cuties got a fabulous makeover!
snip off the ring & give a quick squirt of spray paint…(don’t paint the portion that will touch the cake)
and now you’ve got a sweet topper that’s easy, inexpensive AND just makes you want to smile!
say “yay” for baby!
…the next stop on the hop is Happy and Blessed Home! Monica shares great ideas for family fun & encouragement for busy moms! go check out her baby-ready advice ebook!!
