serve up whimsy…on a picnic buffet!
buffets are a fabulous way to serve up summertime fun! and you can keep it safe by putting the eats in individual containers!
roast beef sandwiches look even better in these funny, grab-and-go bags!
cocktail cups make easy bowls for some summertime potato salad…
and snack & baking cups make perfect vessels for whatever munchies you love!
they’re perfectly portioned and easy to grab!
i raided my pantry to make a simple, crunchy trail mix…
spicy pretzels, sesame sticks, and banana chips make a fun and easy combo for crunching!
and for something sweet…mini chocolate chip cookies stacked in baking cups!
outdoor dining can sometimes be breezy, so a crate makes a perfect wind-break for some of the goods!
paper products can easily blow around outdoors, so any container can help keep them tidy…
and how cute are the dotty cups & straws? extras can sit right out on the back of this casual buffet!
since the buffet is serve-yourself style, drinks are handled the same!
tiny details can make this simple spread look special! try tucking greens or blooms on or around your containers…
guests can refill their cups at their leisure when drinks are served in a big dispenser! but you can also put out coolers of bottles or cans!
no matter what your serve, or packaging you use…
make it easy, have fun, and celebrate dad with a picnic buffet!
enjoy your father’s day festivities!

SO darling! I love the practical tips for serving food in this new “normal”. We really have to be careful with cross contamination of germs and this really helps the issue. Plus those cups and sacks are just the cutest!!

Thanks Bri! It really is a new normal right now! Our family is being pretty conservative when it comes to precautions. I do think it’s important to be as safe as possible while still finding ways to celebrate with family or small groups to keep our sanity! xoxo
