Mimosa bar parties are so much fun and remind me of springtime! The light and delicate drinks can be such a pretty addition to any party…and the ideas for all the fixings are limitless! While many think of mimosas as a sparkly sip at a brunch, they really fit in perfectly for any occasion! Easter celebrations are right around the corner, and with Mother’s Day & warm-weather festivities finally within sight, we now have so many opportunities to host spring & summer inspired parties! So today I’d like to share some ideas for setting a pretty table to serve up these wonderful drinks. Let’s pop the bubbly and bring on the fun…
cheers to the mimosa bar!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
the wonderful thing about a mimosa bar is that you can keep your selections rather simple…leaving you with plenty of room to dress it up if you wish!
clear or white balloons can be really fun on a bubbly bar…they’re in expensive AND they look like bubbles! not a necessary decoration, but creating a balloon garland is easier than you think. you can see a tutorial here! i love the way they surround the backdrop which is simply a pushpin board covered in moss, flowers, and a pretty, hand crafted banner…
what you’ll need to get started…
champagne or sparkling wine
sparkling waters for a non alcoholic version
assortment of juices and/or liqueur
assortment of fruit, herbs or even candies…go ahead and get creative!
juices & spirits…
a bottle of bubbly and some sparkling water is ready to be gussied up with flavor! i love Sofia sparkling wine but i have to admit that the label went so perfectly with the colors i HAD to choose this one!
i kept my selection of additions simple and tried to stick to a soft, spring color palette so i chose peachy & yellow tones…
just label your juices so guests know what they’re adding! i made simple craft paper tags on the computer and embellished them with paper flowers from the cupcake picks. i included traditional orange juice…
peach…
and don’t be afraid to use some special liqueur…the limoncello made a delightfully lemony sip!
since i was only serving three flavor choices, i stacked the bottles on a pretty crystal stand by Amalfi Decor…a really fun way to highlight them!
fruit and sugar…
it’s also fun to add some fresh fruit and even candies to a mimosa bar…they flavor the drink and just look pretty! i kept it simple with just a few choices served in glass fish bowl containers. mango & blackberries…
pineapple chunks…
and even some rock candy sticks! they’re not only sweet but they add extra fizz to the bubbly drink!
sweet nibbles…
i love to add sweet treats to any party table…and it doesn’t have to be elaborate! a tiny stand full of purchased truffles add color AND flavor!
truffles & candies come in so many beautiful shapes and colors making it so easy to compliment any party!
and another crystal stand holds mini cupcakes topped with the most adorable paper flowers by Foxy Decor! they look so delicate perched up on that sparkly pedestal!!
i’m enamored with them!
party favors…
party favors are never necessary, but they sure are a much appreciated little token of thanks! and when you get lucky enough to find the perfect idea for a party it’s also a really adorable addition to the table! how fun are these plastic champagne glasses filled with beautiful, custom FestiveFetti confetti and mimosa soaps…a super cute and useful favor!
these mini soaps by SoapFixxCo. smell as delicious as they are ADORABLE! and i had a little fun with the thank you tag…
a mimosa bar doesn’t have to be filled with a huge spread to look amazing! find a table, a counter, or even a pretty tray and pile on your selections…
and watch your guests smile!
