Springtime table inspiration can help us think ahead to warmer holidays! I don’t know about you, but I’m beyond ready for a new season and the blooms it brings. And since gathering around the table is how most of us celebrate these days, I thought I’d jump ahead and start sharing some fresh ideas! Spring brings holiday celebrations like Easter and Mother’s Day, but it also inspires us to share special breakfasts or brunches for no real reason at all! I think it’s a season that makes us feel refreshed & hopeful for new beginnings, so why not have plenty of any-day-celebrations around a pretty table! Today I’m sharing some simple ideas with hints of Easter…it’s early this year so it’s OK to start thinking ahead! I hope you enjoy it…
egg-cellent springtime table
when you’re getting ready to set your springtime table, be sure to check your holiday decor before you buy anything new!
i often use my glass baskets to hold Easter candy…but they make a pretty centerpiece clustered on the table.
a few silk blooms tucked in each is just enough to add springtime vibes…
because i didn’t have many white stems, i dropped in some little plastic eggs to fill the gaps…
they help to hold the blooms in place AND they mimic the main centerpiece too!
the biggest basket filled with eggs looks super elegant nestled in the center of a pretty floral wreath!
one of my favorite tabletop “tricks” is using a wreath to make a centerpiece statement! it makes a simple table look full and you can hang it wherever you like afterward!
springtime details…
the Easter eggs look lovely in the baskets…but you can scatter them around the table for pops of soft, springtime color!
such an easy way to add holiday cheer!
another favorite detail…paper straws! they’re darling, also inexpensive and easy to find in most stores these days!
springtime place setting…
i’ve had these holiday plates for years and still love them like they’re new!
the pattern inspired me to re-use this planter to compliment my table!
layering plates is another way to make a simple table look extra festive…
they effortlessly add color and pattern…
but if you don’t have seasonal plates there are other easy options you can try!
table tips:
add a cluster of eggs or Easter candy to the top of the napkin
tie a pretty ribbon around the silverware and place in the center of the plate
replace the linen with a pretty paper napkin. they’re easy to find, come in a variety of designs and are disposable too!
just remember that if you shop your house first, you might be surprised what you find!
a new season is just around the corner…
so set a springtime table!

Hi Lori – gorgeous tablescape! Where did you find the gold placemats? They really set off your beautiful plates without taking up as much room as a charger. Leah H

Thanks Leah! I believe I got those at Home Goods. They have so many great prices on a variety of mats! They often have similar ones there all year long!
