It’s time for star spangle fun…it’s almost the Fourth of July! Our celebrations might still be different this year but no less festive! It can be really easy to add simple touches to make your holiday sparkly and bright…and you don’t need to break the bank to do it. Today I’m going to share 3 fun ways to bring those star spangled, patriotic vibes to your table & celebration! All you need is your back yard, some simple supplies, and your favorite peeps! Let’s celebrate fireworks & freedom…
star spangled fourth of july!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
set a star-inspired table!
you don’t need a lot of patriotic decor to add festivity to your tabletop!
mix & match what you’ve got even if it’s not traditional hues or patterns! i used baby blue napkins and red, floral bread plates…
lightweight tea towels under the place mats made an economical stand-in for a traditional tablecloth.
they look just as lovely and you can put them to good use in the kitchen afterward!
if you don’t have star spangled decor…make your edibles part of the table design!
use a cookie cutter to form little stars of cheese…
and you can create a simple centerpiece that double duties as an appetizer…
and how fun is the brie? push the cutter through the center & fill the cavity with any jam you love! i used our favorite…fig!
and a tiny creamer holds posies from the garden to complete this trio that becomes the table decor!
another easy detail: garnish the glasses with more star spangled fun…in fruit form!
use a small cookie cutter to cut shapes from a melon. then make a small slit with a sharp knife so the star will slide over the rim of the glass…
i popped the extras into my infused water! such an easy AND tasty detail!
so you don’t need an arsenal of decorations to set a festive table! just get creative with what you DO have!
cherry on top!
holiday desserts can be quick and easy…especially when you use what’s in season to top them!
this little treat cart sure looks sweet but was the simplest to set up!
fresh cherries from the market were the inspiration…
the easiest topper ever for bite-sized cupcakes stacked in berry baskets…
a whimsical detail to highlight this simple treat!
and to wash it down…a simple carafe of fruit infused water.
serve-yourself glasses each have a happy straw…my favorite way to add festivity to a simple sip!
a recycled yogurt container was perfect for holding a tiny bouquet. another easy and pretty detail!
let the fruits of the season help you serve up a sweet holiday treat!
“pop” for the 4th!
add some safe, star spangled fun to your holiday evening with a table filled with goodies for a “popping” good time!
we love our campfire popcorn popper for ANY summer celebration! it so fun to pop the kernels right over the open flame!
but if you don’t have a popper or a fire pit, use any favorite popcorn to serve a delicious treat!
i set out some toppings to customize the corn. white cheddar…
and black pepper parmesan!
i don’t know about you, but i think pop washes down popcorn the best!
some of our favorite sodas and sparkling waters come in patriotic colors too!
serving them on a colorful cake stand is a fun way to make them look extra festive!
and it’s just not the 4th of July without some “spark”! use a bowl to hold some innocent “fireworks”
and a noise-maker…or two!
the simplest things can be just as fun and festive…just add some “pop”
i hope you enjoyed this holiday inspiration!
have star spangled fun this 4th of July!

Okay this is such a fun way to do it. You’ve got 3 beautiful settings here and I love each one of them. My kids would love the fireworks and popcorn station – well, so do I as popcorn is my favorite food! But the cherry cupcakes and berry filled brie are just divine.
