Today is the first day of Spring! I’m so thrilled that a new season is finally here…and I hope that Mother Nature gets the memo soon! I love all the fresh hues of springtime but I have to admit that I’m currently enamored with the color orange this season! I’ve already shared some fun carrot inspired DIY projects and I’m continuing the festivities today with a little bit more! If you saw the DIY post you caught a glimpse at some of the bright and festive goodies I found at Target! I’m still having fun coming up with multiple craft, decorating, and party ideas with all these goodies…and today I’m sharing some Easter fun in a sweet-treat table setup that’s ready to help you ring in the new season! So have your friends hop on over…
for a carrot patch snack!
having a “party” doesn’t always mean having a huge, blow-out bash. if you like to celebrate go ahead and make ANY occasion festive, whether it’s a big party or a simple snack! i used several of my Target finds to make a springtime treat of milk and cupcakes seem like a big celebration to welcome spring…
i used a magnetic chalkboard for my simple backdrop on the table. but i had fun with some easy diy projects to dress it all up! the porcelain bunny head is really for hanging on a wall…
but it turned into a fun addition to the magnet board with some heavy glue, magnets, rick-rack, and a section of a wired garland…
the same goes for these dollar spot carrots…which are really erasers!
now they make cute magnets to hold up the ends of the rick-rack swag…
you might recognize the carrot patch centerpiece from last week…
now it’s perfect for this snack table!
and a really easy and fun way to make a simple treat look festive is with cake decorations like these cute carrots…
you can find decorations like these at any store that sells baking products and they’re an easy and economical way to jazz up anything! but before i used them on the mini cakes, i dunked these purchased goodies in some of my favorite sprinkles from The Baker’s Party Shop…
and pushed the carrot candy in like it is popping out of the garden!
the cute paper straws look even sweeter with the addition of more of these candy carrots! you can use royal icing to “glue” the candy to the straw just in case someone decides to eat the embellishment!
a tiny basket filled with crispy chocolate carrots make a colorful and effortless addition to the snack table…
just line up all the goodies and call your hungry bunnies in for some nibblin’ in the carrot patch!
happy nibblin’ and munchin’!

I love the garland idea with the carrot magnets. Also, those red striped and polka-dotted carrots in the basket were so cute. The cupcakes look really yummy!

Those cupcakes look so yummy! The “carrot decor” made out of sugar remind me of my childhood. Beautiful job on the presentation. Happy Spring!
