Everything is finally lush and green, so it’s time to get outside for a woodland breakfast party! You may know by now that I LOVE to entertain outdoors! It’s really one of my favorite things to do…whether it’s a big bash, dinner on the patio, or just hanging with family or friends around the fire pit, there’s just something about being outside that makes it feel extra special! Today I’m so excited to share some fun ideas for hosting breakfast in the sunshine…something that most of us have waited long enough for! This fun gathering designed with kids in mind would be a sweet end to a sleepover party, a birthday bash, or just an anytime celebration! The great thing about most parties is that with minor tweaking you can make them age appropriate for ANYONE! Whimsical touches keep it lighthearted but nothing really screams that it’s only for the little ones! So whether you’re planning a celebration for your tots or want a sweet idea for hosting a brunch, I really hope you love this party inspiration!
pull up a stool at the woodland breakfast party table!
giggle living may have received payment and/or product. however i only endorse products i love and all opinions are my own
a rustic table nestled near the garden gate seemed a perfect place to serve up the breakfast fare…
looking over the the colorful blooms is the cutest metal bear attached to the moss covered pin board which you might recognize from the mimosa bar earlier this spring! i love recycling my party props whenever i can!
keeping the food simple always makes a celebration easier…but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring! i iced some mini cinnamon rolls to look like toadstools and lined them up on a piece of painted driftwood!
store bought rolls, some red icing, and google-eye decorator candies turned upside down to make the dots…so easy!
small pieces of moss, flowers and more tiny toad stools are sweet woodland details!
plenty of pink, red, green, and some unexpected touches of gold make a pretty color palette! i spray painted my cupcake toppers to add some shimmer to the egg frittatas! (just wrap the pick with tape to keep it clean while painting)
cute bake cups hold cinnamon sugar waffle sticks…
guests can pour syrup in the cup for dipping, or just eat them plain!
the tiny cups couldn’t have been more perfect for the theme…
yogurt is a healthy & easy addition to the table…
i used a single bloom to top each container…an effortless detail!
spoons for the yogurt are tucked into a milk bottle…the only utensils needed on this mostly finger-food filled table!
i adore these tree shaped crackers which are perfect for a woodland party! i served them up with some strawberry jam…
and who can resist warm biscuits with honey…in the cutest honey pot ever!
take a seat!
a sweet little table is all dressed for woodland dining…
simple milk crates make perfect “stools” at an outdoor coffee table. i just topped them with a tiny pillow for comfort!
the centerpiece couldn’t have been simpler…
i made a sweet vignette with a flower pot, toadstools, moss, & cute little deer (which are actually Christmas ornaments!)
an easy way to add something whimsical to the center of the table!
adorable, custom confetti with an abundance of little toadstools & shimmery sequins is certainly a festive touch!
paper chargers & dinner plates are topped with tiny dessert plates for a colorful “stack”…
the little pink & red flowers were the inspiration for the party!
a metal ornament clipped to the napkin is a fun option to a place card…
each guest can take their initial home to hang on the tree at Christmas time!
a breakfast needs some healthy sips, so milk bottles with dotty straws sit at each place…”cheers” to a woodland breakfast party!
a sweet “thank you”
it can be really fun to give your friends favors to thank them for celebrating with you! at this little soiree, guests left with tiny jars embellished with toadstools & filled with chocolate candies…
a section of moss decorated with wood letters makes a fun sign for the favors!
i’m not sure about you, but i’d be giddy to get one of these moss & mushroom-topped goodie jars!
i hope you loved the inspiration for this woodland breakfast party…a enchanting theme for kids and adults alike!
enjoy the outdoors…the wilderness is calling!
pin for later~
