Valentine’s Day is a little over two weeks away now…and a perfect time to add some easy holiday charm to your home! I’ve got a couple great ideas…inexpensive and simple but very festive! Today I’d like to share these practically effortless ways to brighten up your spaces with plenty of Xs & Os!
hugs and kisses for the home!
one of my favorite picks when i need quick festivity is hanging a garland! it sounds so simple–and it is! they can be found at any craft store, most are very affordable, and they can be strung practically anywhere you desire! i found this pretty-in-pink xoxo garland at Target in the dollar bins…it doesn’t get more economical than that!
i love the way it looks centered it over my craft table…
and i just used tiny pink clips (also from Target) to easily hang it from the drapery wire!
and bonus…i found a second one i loved in that fabulous dollar spot–
this wood garland was actually too long to hang from my fireplace mantle. and since i really didn’t want to use the red & white twine…i simply restrung it and eliminated some of the banner flags so that it would fit perfectly!
some Xs and Os on my chalkboard…the easiest!
xoxo sips…
you know me and straws…i need more like i need a hole in the head but it’s hard to pass up the adorable sippers! they’re inexpensive, useful, and an easy way to add some holiday cheer! i grabbed these simple xoxo straws from Home Goods to stick on my hot cocoa tray…
just be careful sipping on hot beverages…but they work well as stir-sticks too and you gotta admit, they’re pretty darn cute! guests will love the way they look–whether they use them or not!
another addition of letters that represent heart day…
some wood blocks from a classic game of Noughts & Crosses, otherwise known as Tic-Tac-Toe…
are stacked in some tiny cordial glasses on my beverage cabinet. an easy way to take an ordinary thing you may already have and turn it into a holiday display! Baby blocks would be cute too!
no matter how they come…
