Yogurt parfaits are a popular treat at my house! Not only are they super easy to make, but they’re a healthy breakfast choice OR snack and you can top them with all sorts of goodies! Some of my favorite toppings include fresh fruit, honey, and homemade granola. (I’ll share my recipe at the end of the post!) Since it looks like we’ll be keeping our summer celebrations limited to family or small groups of friends, making an ordinary treat look extra special seems like a great idea to brighten the experiences! So I’m sharing a really fun way to dress up & serve individual parfaits for a sweet treat that tastes as good as it looks! Make simple joys extra special…whether at the breakfast table, or a coffee with a girlfriend or two! See the fun inspiration…
color your morning with yogurt parfaits!
just because i can’t entertain the same right now doesn’t mean i can’t serve up something special!
piling a tray full of everything you need to create a custom parfait is a fun surprise that’s still easy to pull off!
it doesn’t need to be fancy…just a few jars filled with yogurt and some toppings to go with them!
canning jars are fun containers for treats, and these jelly jars filled with yogurt can stay in the fridge until you’re ready to serve!
the same goes for the fruit…
and the granola…but you don’t have to keep this topping in the fridge!
you could offer more or less toppings…just let family or guests sprinkle their favorites on top!
and what makes these yogurt parfaits extra special? purple sweet potato powder to effortlessly & deliciously turn them into the prettiest color!
i tinted the yogurt before i filled the little jars…what an easy way to create something so beautifully unexpected!
i included a vase of edible posies and mint to my tray. not a required topping…but they sure look pretty!
no matter who you serve them to, or what you put on them…this mini yogurt “bar” was the easiest!
and anything you can do ahead of time makes dishing up a surprise as easy as 1…2…eat!
add some color, summer sweetness, and a little crunch…
and you’ve got a tiny parfait that packs a big punch!
try starting your day with colorful parfaits!
